An exciting commission documenting a Lotus Elise Type 49 and its proud owner on some local B-roads as part of a driver feature in the November Issue of Chicane – Lotus Drivers magazine. These cars are incredibly rare and this one even more so with one owner from new and only 16k on the clock! The striking red / gold and white colour scheme a homage to the 49 Grand Prix car.
With flexibility on the shoot, Daryl had planned out several locations to shoot the lotus driver feature through the evening with the end of the day wrapped up on the vast and open moors of the Pennines. A local jaunt for the owner of this Lotus and a fitting environment to put the car through its paces.

As we made our way over to the fast open moor tops of the Pennines, the sun began to fade and we entered into blue hour, the pastels of the sky creating the perfect hues to show off the signature colours of the Type 49.
